SiC nanopowder

SiC ceramic material has several wonderful properties. It is harder than oxide ceramic, self-lubricating, anti-high temperature, anti-creep, anti-oxidization, low thermal expansion, microwave susceptor, semiconductor, IR radiation materials and so on. SiC nanopowder exhibits higher activity, lower sintering temperature, and different radiation or adsorption of light and conductivity electronically and thermally. some applications are:
1) Nanostructured materials: it provides hard, higher ductility and strength etc. mechanical properties, and self-lubricating, anti-corrosion/oxidization to be used in the sectors of metallurgical, petrochemical, mechanical, air/space-crafts, e.g. bearings or other anti-wear part, liquid fuel injector, crucibles, high power and frequency modules, semiconductor components.
2) SiC Nanoparticle coating on the surface of tools, models or functional components with some performances above.
3) The nano composites with enhanced performances in the matrixes of metals, ceramics, and polymers.
4) New nucleating/refining or sintering agents in metals or alloys or polymer or ceramic or microcrystalline glass materials for smaller grain size with improved mechanical properties etc..
The nanopowder should not be exposed to direct sunshine and with moisture it will result in agglomeration.
