This ‘Self-Energy Converting Sunglass’ is the latest innovation by Hyun-Joong Kim and Kwang-Seok Jeong to get power for operating small gadgets. This multifunctional sun glass has dye solar cells built using nano technology and lenses to convert sun rays into portable electrical energy. This can power small gadgets through a power jack at the rear of the frame.

The glass does not have any battery and is very simple. This is just a concept because the designers have envisioned a sort of solar cell dye, made up out of tiny solar transistors, assembled with nano-technology to power mini gadgets which consume very low wattage.
