Nanotechnology helps to reduce fuel consumption in engine
A new formulation developed based on nanotechnology, when added to engine oil is claimed to increase the fuel efficiency of the car by 35 to 50 per cent and cut down on carbon emission by 90 per cent. The reason for poor mileage and harmful emissions in the engine is friction and this patented additive is reported to reduces the friction and smothen the internal surface of the engine, thus increasing efficiency and cutting down on carbon exhaust. Adding just 10 cc of the additive to engine oil is claimed to increase the life of the engine and cut down on the frequency of changing the engine oil. Once the additive is mixed with the oil, it can last for five to six years and can be used in all sorts of automotive engines.
