It is a globally accepted that the role-played by Nanotechnology is dramatically changing the face of industry and economy and will be a driving force in the future of India and the world. In this aspect Indias first Industry – Academia event on Nanotechnology called Bangalore Nano 2007 held at the IT capital of India was a successful event with tremendous response from industries, research organizations from across the world, scientists, leading Investors, technocrats and multinational companies. Now Bangalore Nano 2008, the 2nd largest industry event on Nanotechnology is scheduled on 11th to 13th December 2008, at Bangalore, India. The event is intended to be a place for the global nano-technology community to meet, collaborate and do business. The theme is “Nanotechnology in India's future" and will discuss on how nanotechnology can be a catalyst in India’s future. The technical events include nanobiotechnology in health and pharma, industry and manufacturing, nano food and agriculture, chemicals and nanomaterials, ICT and electronics, energy, environment and green tech and on nanovision and mission.
