Potential uses of nanotechnology
Do you like this story?
Today, nanotechnology plays an increasingly important role in a wide range of consumer products. Nanotechnology applications are in various fields such as cosmetics and sunscreens, water filtrations, glare filters, ink, stain-resistant clothing, more durable tennis balls, more lightweight tennis rackets, dressings for burns or injuries, etc. With Nanotechnology easy-to-clean effect or more popularly the lotus effect can be created in textiles. Scientists have recently developed tetrad-shaped nanoparticles that, when applied to a surface, instantly transform it into a solar collector. It has been reported that nanotechnology will soon allow people to have their blood plasma cleaned relatively inexpensively. Patients can undergo treatment for metabolic disorder and remove toxins from their blood. Fitness centers and beauty parlors could soon use nanotechnology to offer plasmopheresis to their customers. Here in this video we can see how from Lawrence Berkeley National Labs to Silicon Valley, researchers are manipulating particles at the atomic level, ushering in potential cures for cancer, clothes that don't stain, and solar panel etc,.
